This versatility makes it difficult to get an overview. That’s why this guide was created. It is intended to provide an introduction to competency management and covers the most important topics.

There are numerous interesting blog posts, individual articles and page-long books on the topic of competence management. From these different sources, one can now compile information that appears important. However, we wanted to make it easier for aspiring HR professionals to get useful knowledge on managing competencies. That’s why we, as experts, have created our own guide to competence management with all essential knowledge. Compact and easy to understand.

This guide is designed to cover the key areas of focus in competency management, delving deeper into the subject matter with each chapter.
